Cornell’s Adult University
Believing that learning shouldn’t end once you’ve earned your degree, Cornell’s Adult University (CAU) offers weeklong noncredit courses on campus in the summer for adults and families. During the fall, winter, and spring, CAU offers weekend seminars and longer domestic programs as well as international study tours. Developed and led by distinguished members of the Cornell faculty, all programs are inspired by the conviction that one of the roles of a great university is to provide a bridge between traditional formal education and informal, noncredit study. These courses are taught by Cornell faculty and distinguished leaders in many fields and provide opportunities to hone skills, increase effectiveness, stay abreast of changes in the work world, and network with colleagues. Programs also can be designed to respond to the specific needs and interests of corporations, professional societies, and other groups.
